Travis Harvey began his career in fine dining, preparing regional Italian and Turkish cuisine, before spending a decade cooking in the UK, Ireland and Spain then onto Central America. Now Trav heads up our Cooking for a Cause program preparing hundreds of delicious meals at a time, using rescued surplus food with the help of wonderful volunteers and corporate teams, all delivered fresh to our charities and agencies. He also heads up food innovation nationally for OzHarvest and has run two pop-ups for OzHarvest, 2018’s Gratia receiving a four star review from the Sydney Morning Herald. Trav began his community and volunteer work whilst living in Guatemala and Mexico for three years. It was a life-changing experience that showed him the power that access to food has to make change in the world. He is certain he has the best chef’s job in Sydney.
