What is the OzHarvest Community CookOff?
The OzHarvest Community CookOff is your chance to connect with the community and help OzHarvest feed vulnerable Australians. Held between the 15th and 29th May, restaurants all around Australia will open their doors to host business leaders and their teams, guiding them through the creation of a three-course meal that is then served with dignity, friendship and care to our very special guests on the night.
OzHarvest believes in the power of food, to nourish the body and connect communities. What we deliver is so much more than a meal; it’s a gesture of care, a reminder of friendship and a promise of hope for a better future. Join us and experience the magic of the OzHarvest Community CookOff!
Every person who signs up to the CookOff commits to fundraising a minimum of $10,000 and with every $1 = 2 meals, our goal is to raise enough to share 5 million meals with the 1,800 charities OzHarvest supports.

“
Tonight is an extra special occasion! It’s lots of fun and we get to see celebrities from the tv – up close! The clients had never been before and were really excited about it.” Cecilia from Cook Islands has come with a group of charity clients. She is wearing a traditional head dress, an ei’ katu, worn on special occasions.

“
The meal was the best thing I’ve ever had! And to see so many people just giving the time of day to people who struggle, who live on the streets...I’m just so grateful.” Sarah had never been to the CEO CookOff and was quite overwhelmed by the whole experience.

“
I think the biggest value for me personally is sitting down and spending time talking to people who have had challenging circumstances in your life. You don’t realise how small gestures, in times of loneliness and despair, just resonate so much more.
