Founder & Visionary in Residence

Ronni Kahn AO

Ronni Kahn AO is a social entrepreneur and founder of food rescue charity OzHarvest. Ronni is a passionate advocate and activist renowned for disrupting the food waste landscape in Australia. She appears regularly in national media, serves in an advisory capacity to government and is a sought after keynote speaker. Her mission to fight food waste and feed hungry people is supported by some of the world’s finest chefs. Ronni is an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) and was named Australian Local Hero of the Year (2010). Her journey is the subject of a feature film, Food Fighter and her memoir A Repurposed Life has recently been published.

Lawrence Goldstone

Lawrence took on the role of OzHarvest Chairman in January 2020, having been on the Board since 2016, leading the strategy committee and a passionate supporter and contributor to OzHarvest since 2009.

CEO and Co-Founder at Luminous, and former Partner at PwC Australia. Lawrence is passionate around disruptive models of change and bringing new perspectives to Executives and Boards. With over 25 years local and international experience, he is a specialist in the field of people experience, people engagement, strategy, co-design and transformation.

Cameron Adams

Cameron Adams is a co-founder and Chief Product Officer at Canva: an online design platform and one of Australia’s biggest technology success stories. Prior to Canva, Cameron worked with the co-founders of Google Maps as a product designer on their groundbreaking communications product Google Wave, and also started a design agency that produced work for global clients such as NEC, Atlassian, TEDx and Sydney Festival.

Cameron is passionate about building organisations that think beyond their bottom line, have a positive impact on the world, and are also tackling our current climate crisis – all things that OzHarvest is an inspiring champion for.

Andrew Baxter

Chair, board director, business advisor and marketing thought leader, Andrew is the Chair of Australian Pork, Chair of Tjapukai, Chair of Commtract, and a Non Executive Director at both Foresters Financial and GrowthOps. He is also a Senior Advisor at BGH Capital and the Adjunct Professor of Marketing at the University of Sydney, and has been the Senior Advisor to KPMG’s Customer, Brand and Marketing business. Prior to this he was the CEO of two of the country’s largest communications agencies, Publicis, and Ogilvy, where he was a trusted counsel to many of Australia’s most iconic brands. Andrew is also a Non-Executive Director of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and on the Board of the NBL.

Guy Brent

Guy was appointed Managing Director of The Woolworths Food Company & Metro in August 2019. Before being appointed to Managing Director, Guy was the Director of BWS from August 2014, and prior to this, Guy held the role of General Manager of Pinnacle Drinks. Guy joined Woolworths in April 2011 as part of the acquisition by Woolworths of the Cellarmasters Group. He was Chief Financial Officer of Cellarmasters from 2007 to 2011. Guy is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has a BSC from the University of Bristol. Guy’s passion outside of work is playing tennis and kayaking with his two boys.

Lucy d’Arville

Lucy joined the Board of OzHarvest in April 2021, having worked closely with the organisation in a pro bono capacity since 2013 and being part of the OzHarvest Board strategy sub-committee since 2020.

A Partner at Bain and Company, Lucy leads the Australian and New Zealand Healthcare and Social Impact practices. With 15 years local and international experience, Lucy has led a wide range of engagements with an emphasis on customer-led growth, organisational effectiveness and operational performance improvement.

In 2019, she was elected a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.

Melinda Petrunoff

As the Managing Director for Pinterest across Australia and New Zealand Melinda is responsible for building and managing a team to increase advertising growth in Australia and New Zealand, supporting relationships with brands, and ensuring Pinterest is the best possible localized experience for people using the platform each and every day.

Pinterest’s mission is to help people create a life they love. Melinda is passionate about advancing this mission in Australia and New Zealand and the company goal of creating a better internet.

Melinda has more than 20 years of leadership, strategy, sales, marketing and operations experience building successful digital businesses across Asia and the Pacific most recently at companies including Facebook (now Meta) and Fairfax (now Nine). Since 2015, she has been a board member of OzHarvest where she is currently responsible for leading the strategy committee.

Yasmin Poole

Yasmin is an award winning speaker, writer and youth advocate. She is currently Plan International’s National Ambassador and frequently appears on prominent Australian media programs to discuss the role of diversity in social change. Yasmin has represented over a million young Australians as the Chair of the Victorian Government’s Youth Congress and led the global business development of 180 Degrees Consulting, the largest youth consultancy in the world. In 2019, Yasmin was the youngest member of the Australian Financial Review 100 Women of Influence and Top 40 Under 40 Most Influential Asian Australians.

Kieran Pryke

Kieran has held a number of senior finance roles in the property industry over the past 25 years. His roles have included Chief Financial Officer of both Australand Property Group and The GPT Group. Prior to that Kieran gained experience across the Lendlease businesses of property investment, management and construction. Kieran has served on a number of committees of the Property Council of Australia, served as a director of St Vincent’s College, Potts Point. Kieran serves as the Chairman of the OzHarvest Finance Committee and is a director of Aventus Capital Limited.

Jenna Scott

Jenna brings a wealth of legal expertise and a passion for social impact to her role as OzHarvest’s Company Secretary. As a partner at Norton Rose Fulbright, she brings extensive experience in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and complex commercial matters. Highlights of Jenna’s experience include advising on directors’ duties and responsibilities, navigating complex regulatory environments, managing large-scale commercial transactions, corporate restructures, and commercial litigation across multiple geographic locations. She is dedicated to building a more diverse, equitable and inclusive society. In addition to her position with OzHarvest, Jenna also has voluntary roles on the Turnaround and Management Association committee, its Network of Women subcommittee, and Norton Rose Fulbright’s National Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee.

Kate Towey

Kate is a partner at Allens and a leading M&A and equity capital markets lawyer and governance specialist. She is the Head of Allens’ Real Estate Sector and Co-head of Allens’ Head Office & Governance practice. Kate has been involved in a wide range of transactions across government, property, infrastructure, financial services, retail, media and technology. Her practice also includes corporate reconstructions and distressed M&A. In addition to her transactional practice, Kate regularly advises on general corporate advisory and corporate governance. Kate is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, the Property Council of Australia and is admitted in NSW.
