“
The reduction of food waste was our initial motive in supporting OzHarvest. If our work with OzHarvest only resulted in a reduction in food waste we would have achieved our goal. But of course what OzHarvest does is so much better than simply rescue, OzHarvest nourishes both those in need and those who volunteer to continue this important work.

Founder, Gastronomy

Hospitality is at the heart of everything we do. Our desire to give something back led us to search for a likeminded organisation that supported people in need, as well as having an element of hospitality. OzHarvest was a natural fit and a chance meeting with Ronni Kahn AO sealed the deal. Ronni’s steadfast passion and determination to do the right thing echoed Pinnacle People’s ethos.

Just wanted to shout out that our relationship with OzHarvest is one of the things I value dearly about working with bp. Like many others in the company, I am blessed to have been able to support OzHarvest for several years now, and every time it has been nothing short of a pleasure to work side by side for a great cause with the OzHarvest team here in Perth.

Food rescue is at the heart of our mission at OzHarvest. You could play a crucial role in supporting our food rescue operations where 150 drivers rescue surplus food and deliver it to 1,500 charities who support people in need.
Our founder, Ronni Kahn AO often says “whilst food rescue fills bellies, education can transform lives.” We truly believe this and are proud to run three education programs that are helping transform lives every day.
By supporting our education program, FEAST, you can help us bring food education into classrooms, teaching children about nutrition and sustainability.
Helping us bring NEST to life means we can continue to deliver essential life skills workshops to vulnerable communities about how to cook nutritious meals on a budget.
Your partnership with our Nourish program can provide at-risk youth with hospitality training and employment opportunities to help transform lives by equipping them with valuable skills and a pathway to a brighter future in the food industry. Find out more about our education programs here.
By supporting the Refettorio OzHarvest Sydney, you can help us transform rescued food into beautiful meals served in a welcoming community space for people in need. Your support will enhance our ability to offer dignified dining experiences while raising awareness about food waste and social inclusion. Find out more about Refettorio OzHarvest Sydney here.
We’re on a mission to meet the national goal of halving food waste by 2030, and with your help we can get there! Supporting our Advocacy efforts and our Use It Up program, can help encourage and educate people on reducing their household waste. Find out more about our Use It Up campaign here.
Our free markets in Waterloo, Sydney and Hindmarsh provide a variety of rescued fresh produce and pantry staples to people in need based on a ‘take what you need, give if you can’ philosophy. Our markets are a wonderful way to support the community, provide them with food and a community space where they feel safe and welcome. You can help us continue to keep the doors of our markets open, and provide more food to those struggling. Find out more about our Markets here.
