How FEAST Works
Designed for primary and high school students, FEAST runs for 7-10 weeks and is a STEM project-based learning program focusing on food and sustainability. The teacher-led program can be adapted and changed to suit your school’s needs.
To run the program, teachers are encouraged to sign up to teacher training day or an online training module that is quick and easy to complete.
Schools also get access to online learning resources including 10 detailed lesson plans, student worksheets, videos, recipes books, the FEAST practical cooking guide and ongoing support from the FEAST team.
FEAST can be easily implemented in any classroom with our fully equipped kitchen kits (no kitchen required).
Thanks to support from corporate and philanthropic organisations, financial support is available to help eligible schools undertake the program.

FEAST is so important because students need to know where food comes from to value it. After completing the program, the students walked away and said, 'I can make a change!' I’d recommend FEAST to all teachers - students love it and I love it!

FEAST provides teachers with the resources to teach their student's important life skills in preparing healthy and delicious food and practical ways to fight food waste. Through real-world learning, FEAST students gain resilience, confidence, and a sense of purpose.

“
The program has been a great success at our school. The kids loved the cooking and were able to engage in conversation about food waste. They were looking at ways to use up food at home without wasting it. The teachers said it was the best program the school had done to date.
