Cooking for a Cause

This is our most popular team-building cooking session! Led by OzHarvest chefs, you’ll transform rescued produce into gourmet meals made with love. Our incredible team of Food Rescue Drivers then deliver these meals to charities, supporting those in need. You’ll also get a taster of the food you make, and the good news is there’s no washing up!

We can accommodate various group sizes on different days: 

  • Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 8 – 50 people 
  • Tuesday and Thursday 8 – 80 people

Timing:  

  • Morning sessions: 9am – 11.30am  
  • Afternoon sessions: 1pm – 3.30pm.  

Cost: $205 pp – tax deductible


Cooking for a Cause - PLUS!

Make your Cooking for a Cause experience that extra bit special with our PLUS offering. After cooking up a storm in the kitchen, teams can enjoy a 3-course sit down meal or buffet style, standing option. This is your chance to enjoy some of the meals with your team in our OzHarvest warehouse and reflect together on the impact you’ve just made! 

For these sessions, we can accommodate various group sizes on different days: 

  • Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 8 –30 people 
  • Tuesday and Thursday: 8 – 50 people  

Timing:

  • Morning: 9am – 12.30pm  
  • Afternoon: 1pm – 4.30pm 

Cost: $305 pp – tax deductible   


Cooking for a Cause - After Dark

This is the perfect option for teams looking for an exciting after-hours experience or a team event with purpose! Led by OzHarvest chefs, you’ll enjoy a cooking session where you’ll learn zero waste cooking tips and tricks while preparing meals made with love, for those in need. This includes a 3-course sit-down meal or stand-up cocktail-style, so you have time to enjoy the food you’ve created and reflect on your experience. Additional add-ons to create an unforgettable night include goodie bags, beverages, music, styling, and entertainment – all available upon request! 

Group size: Min 12 – Max 80 people

Timing: Available Monday – Friday from 6pm – 9.30pm. Saturdays are available upon request! 

Cost: $305 pp – tax deductible.

Kids Cooking for a Cause

Bring your family to our kitchen in the school holidays! Led by OzHarvest chefs, adults and kids cook together turning rescued food into nourishing meals for people in need. You’ll learn about what we do, food waste and pick up practical tips to do at home. Kids must be accompanied by an adult, must be aged 8 and above and over 120cm tall.

  • Fri 10th Jan, 1pm – 3:30pm
  • Wed 15th Jan, 1pm – 3:30pm
  • Thu 16th Jan, 1pm – 3:30pm
  • Wed 22nd Jan, 1pm – 3:30pm – SOLD OUT

Cost: $205 for an adult ticket, and you can bring two kids for FREE!
