In just two months, bp and Asahi Lifestyle Beverages have raised a whopping $130,000 for OzHarvest through their summer fundraising campaign, The Big Giveback. That’s 260,000 more meals to people in need!
Frédéric Baudry, President, bp Australia and senior vice president, fuels & low carbon solutions, Asia Pacific, said “bp is a proud partner of OzHarvest and it was wonderful to once again be involved in The Big Giveback campaign. The $130,000 raised in our stores exceeded last year’s campaign, and I would like to thank our customers and retail teams for helping us achieve this incredible goal. The funds raised will provide over 260,000 nourishing meals to those in our local community who need it most. We look forward to building on this in 2022 and bringing ever more to those in need.”
OzHarvest founder and CEO, Ronni Kahn AO said after five years working together bp have renewed their partnership. “We are thrilled to be able to continue our journey with bp, which literally helps keep our wheels turning by fuelling our fleet of yellow vans! Last year alone we clocked up 1,400,000kms in free fuel, which is a huge cost saving to us. We have also delivered an additional 755,495 meals to people in need and their ongoing support enables us to Nourish our Country.”
“The funds raised from The Big Giveback campaign are so important for helping us to address the rising demand for food relief in such challenging times.”
