Workplace Engagement
There's no better way to experience how we 'Nourish our Country' than rolling up your sleeves and getting involved. However you choose to help us, add a splash of yellow and some purpose to your day!

Cooking for a Cause
OzHarvest’s Cooking for a Cause is a hands-on cooking class open to corporate groups. Led by our phenomenal OzHarvest chefs, teams get busy in the kitchen over a three hour period, transforming rescued food into restaurant quality meals that are then delivered directly to local disadvantaged communities.
Beyond cooking a range of cuisines our chefs will share the unique story of OzHarvest, inspiring attendees with the power of positivity and instilling the value of food and why we shouldn’t waste it. In addition to bonding over delicious food and learning useful cooking tips from a pro, this half day experience will leave a beautiful memory in the hearts and minds of all who attend.

Food Drive
Hosting a food drive is the perfect way to engage your team to support OzHarvest. Food Drives can be run all year round for non-perishable food items only and within use-by date including: pasta, rice, whole grain cereal, canned fruit and veg, tuna, salmon, chicken, beef stews (ring pull), long life milk products, breakfast cereals, tea/coffee, and biscuits (sweet and savoury).
Food containing alcohol cannot be accepted, so please do not collect Christmas Puddings! Please avoid filling heavy boxes, do not wrap the food, leave boxes open. Food donated in eco shopping bags is preferred.
Food Drive items distributed by OzHarvest make an invaluable difference to local vulnerable people. We thank you for your part in helping us to nourish hungry bellies and support those in our community.

Workplace Giving
At OzHarvest, we can provide two meals for someone in need for just $1. So for just $10 per month, you can give someone in need the equivalent of your daily workday lunches. With the impact of COVID-19 many people are experiencing food insecurity for the first time ever. By joining the OzHarvest Lunch Club or Workplace Giving Program, you’re helping us provide food relief to the over 5 million Aussies currently experiencing food insecurity. Together, we can provide hope and change the lives of many – you’ll be directly feeding someone in need, giving them the opportunity to lead a better life.

Waterloo Market
Join our volunteer family for a day at our free market in Waterloo! You’ll help to replenish shelves, chat with patrons, and provide customer service to the market’s 200+ daily customers. This is a great way to experience firsthand the community that has been built around this innovative space.
- Sessions available: Tuesday to Friday from 8am – 2.30pm.
- Group size: corporate teams up to 3 people per session.
- Cost: $800 per session or $1,500 for 2 sessions.
