Food Rescue
The Southern Highlands chapter opened in 2017 and is already delivering around 2,500 meals a week to people doing it tough in the region.

Volunteer
The Southern Highlands chapter is completely run by a small team of volunteers. Full of enthusiasm, this team works hard to support our community rescuing food from our food donors and delivering it to charities who provide it to people in need using personal vehicles. You can volunteer to rescue food on Monday – Friday between 8am – 10am. Assisting on a food rescue run requires a level of fitness, the ability to climb loading dock ladders and carry/lift up to 10kgs repeatedly. Other more sporadic volunteering opportunities exist for fundraising, community engagement and ad-hoc food collections.
If you are interested in volunteering with our Southern Highlands team, we’d love to welcome you to the OzHarvest family! Please click the button below to register your interest.

FEAST
FEAST (Food Education and Sustainability Training) is a curriculum aligned program aimed at year 5 and 6 students. FEAST runs for 7-10 weeks and is a STEM project-based learning program focusing on food and sustainability. The teacher-led program can be adapted and changed to suit your school’s needs.
Like any good FEAST, it’s designed to be fun, engaging and filled with good food.
