OzHarvest Southern Highlands launches

OzHarvest’s newest regional chapter has launched in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales. Chapter Coordinator Ana Maria Salinas started the chapter in August after discovering OzHarvest on Facebook and getting in touch to see how she could help. Since then, Ana Maria has already single-handedly rescued more than 500kgs of quality surplus food from local businesses in Bowral and the surrounding area.
The food is delivered to local charities and support agencies like Wingecarribee Family Support Service and Bowral Youth Refuge to help them feed local people in need.
If you’re interested in supporting OzHarvest Southern Highlands, whether you’re a business that can donate surplus food or a potential volunteer who can help with delivering food, please get in touch with Ana Maria at [email protected]
