Uber joins the food revolution!

by

OzHarvest is excited to announce our partnership with Uber to help deliver our message of eliminating food waste and hunger.

Today only, your lunch can feed 25 people (that’s you plus 24 Australians in need).

Best part? A celebrity chef-cooked meal could be delivered right to your door!

OzHarvest has provided more than 35 million meals to vulnerable Aussies from the 12 million tonnes of food we’ve rescued to date.

As part of our partnership, Uber will be supporting OzHarvest’s Think.Eat.Save campaign. The United Nations-backed campaign aims to raise awareness about global food wastage, encouraging people to make a pledge to reduce the amount of food they send to landfill.

That’s not all… Uber will be donating $10,000 (that’s 20,000 meals) to OzHarvest as well as delivering yumminess straight to you!

So, how does this actually work? Three words. Lunch. On. Demand. That’s right, we’ve teamed up with some of Australia’s best known chefs to bring lunch to your door for one day only.

Just jump on the Uber app today only and order away.

For $12 per celebrity chef meal (plus anything else you feel like contributing) you can help us generate enough funds to provide 50,000 meals for hungry Australians in one day!

In the six cities below lunch is on-demand today. And not just any old lunch. The best-tasting and most nutritious lunches we could find. Made by the greatest celebrity chefs we could get our hands on.

The best part? Every single dollar raised goes back to OzHarvest to help nourish vulnerable people, thanks to our incredibly generous chefs. Every Uber lunch ordered today gives back 24 meals to those in need.

New to Uber? Download the app at https://get.uber.com/ and create an account to order your lunch today from 12PM – 2PM by requesting the ‘HARVEST’ option! We have 200 meals or less in each city so you’ll have to be quick!!
